Mindful Movement | Yoga • Vagus Nerve Exercise

Physical activity and mindful movement has been shown to have a positive effect on depression and anxiety levels. These gentle poses are adapted from yoga. We can honour yoga as a traditional practice from India that supports mind and body balance.

This practice includes gentle poses commonly referred to as Legs Up the Wall, Child’s Pose, Knees to Chest, and Cat-Cow. Yoga and mindful movement supports relaxation and balance and has been found to increase focus, social connectedness and relaxation.
